As the maritime gateway to the Gulf, it&#8217;s from here that boats depart for unique excursions to <g id=\"gid_0\">the islands of the Golfe du Morbihan<\/g>. It&#8217;s a lively, modern and easily accessible marina. It is home to more than 117 boats, which can be rented by the month or year. The port aux moines takes its name from its natural shelter in a rock once used by the monks of the abbey at Saint Gildas de Rhuys.
