Not to be missed on the Rhuys Peninsula

  • At the tip of the Rhuys Peninsula, discover Port Navalo. This authentic Breton port is also an ideal starting point to reach the Morbihan islands.
  • Continue the ride to Arzon and the Port du Crouesty, the largest marina in Brittany.
  • Right next door, the megalithic site of Petit Mont has watched over the Gulf of Morbihan for 6,000 years. If you are resolutely in love with old stones, make a detour to the abbey of Saint Gildas de Rhuys and the medieval castle of Suscinio in Sarzeau.
  • As for wilderness enthusiasts and birdwatchers, they will take the salt marshes route which leads to Saint Armel and Tascon Island. In the south-east of the Rhuys peninsula, the Pointe de Penvins in Sarzeau and the Tour du Parc are also worth a detour.
