Internal regulations
I – GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. Conditions of admission and residence
To be admitted to enter, settle or stay on a campsite, you must have been authorized by the manager or his representative. It is the manager’s duty to ensure that the campsite is kept in good order and that the present rules and regulations are applied. Staying on the campsite implies acceptance of the provisions of the present regulations and a commitment to comply with them. No one may take up residence in the campsite.
2. Police formalities
Minors unaccompanied by their parents will only be admitted with their parents’ written authorization. Pursuant to article R. 611-35 of the Code de l’Entrée et du Séjour des Etrangers et du Droit d’Asile (Code on the Entry and Stay of Foreigners and the Right to Asylum), the manager is required to have foreign guests complete and sign an individual police form on arrival. This form must include the following information
1° Full name ;
2° Date and place of birth ;
3° Nationality ;
4° habitual place of residence.
Children under the age of 15 may be listed on the card of one of the parents.
3. Installation
Outdoor accommodation (tent, caravan, van, camper van, etc.) and related equipment must be set up on the specified pitch in accordance with the instructions given by the manager or his representative.
4. Reception desk
Open from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 15:00 to 18:00, Monday to Sunday. At the reception desk, you’ll find all the information you need on campsite services, emergency numbers, refreshment facilities, sports facilities, local tourist attractions and other useful addresses.
A complaints collection and processing system is available to customers.
5. Display
These rules and regulations are posted at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. They are given to any customer who requests them. In the case of classified campsites, the classification category with the mention “tourism” or “leisure” and the number of tourism or leisure pitches are displayed. The prices of the various services are communicated to customers in accordance with the conditions laid down by order of the Minister for Consumer Affairs, and can be consulted at reception.
6. Departure terms and fees
Fees are payable at the reception desk on arrival before any installation.
Guests are asked to inform the reception desk of their departure the day before. Guests intending to leave before the reception desk opens must pay for their stay the day before.
No refunds will be made for late arrivals or early departures.
7. Noise and silence
Guests are asked to avoid any noise or chatter that might disturb their neighbors. Sound equipment should be adjusted accordingly.
Door and trunk locks should be as discreet as possible.
Dogs and other animals must never be left at large. They must not be left on the campsite, even locked up, in the absence of their owners, who are civilly responsible for them. The campsite manager ensures the peace and quiet of his customers by setting times when there must be complete silence between 11.00 pm and 8.00 am.
8. Animals
Dogs are admitted to the campsite under the following conditions: Presentation of their health booklet showing animal identification by tattoo or other approved means (Decree of June 30, 1992) and valid anti-rabies vaccination (Decree of January 22, 1985).
Dogs must never be allowed to run at large. They must be kept on a leash and relieve themselves outside the campsite. They must not be left in the campsite, even locked up, in the absence of their owners. Animals are strictly forbidden to use and access the sanitary facilities.
9. Visitors
After having been authorized by the manager or his representative, visitors may be admitted to the campsite under the responsibility of the campers receiving them. The customer may receive one or more visitors at the reception desk. Campground services and facilities are accessible to visitors. However, use of these facilities may be subject to a fee, which must be posted at the entrance to the campsite and at the reception desk. Visitors’ cars are not allowed in the campground.
10. Vehicle traffic and parking
No vehicles may be parked on the campsite. All 4 and 2-wheel motorized vehicles must stay in the designated parking area.
Inside the campsite, vehicles must not exceed a speed of 10 Km/h.
No vehicles are allowed inside the campsite between 8.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m. The access gate will also be closed during this period.
Parking must not impede traffic flow or prevent the arrival of newcomers.
11. Maintenance and appearance of installations
Everyone is required to refrain from any action that could damage the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite and its facilities, particularly sanitary facilities.
It is forbidden to dispose of wastewater on the ground or in gutters.
Customers are responsible for emptying wastewater into the facilities provided.
Household waste, garbage of all kinds and paper must be placed in the garbage cans. Everyone is responsible for sorting household waste.
Washing is strictly forbidden outside the bins provided for this purpose.
Linen may be hung in the communal dryer. However, it is tolerated until 10 a.m. in the vicinity of the accommodation, on condition that it is discreet and does not disturb the neighbors. It must never be done from trees.
Plantations and floral decorations must be respected. It is forbidden to hammer nails into trees, cut branches or make plantations.
It is forbidden to demarcate the location of an installation by personal means, or to dig into the ground. It is strictly forbidden to tamper with electrical terminals or to modify the socket safety system.
Any damage to vegetation, fences, grounds or campsite facilities will be paid for by the person responsible.
The pitch used during the stay must be maintained in the same condition as the camper found it on arrival.
12. Security
- a) Fire
Smoking is strictly prohibited in mobile homes and other public areas such as beaches, swimming pools and sanitary facilities.
Wood or charcoal barbecues are permitted, and a bucket of water must be kept close by.
Stoves must be kept in good working order and not be used in unsafe conditions.
Electric vehicles may not be recharged in mobile homes or outdoor charging stations.
In the event of fire, notify management immediately.
Fire extinguishers can be used when necessary and are available to all.
A first-aid kit is available at the reception desk.
- b) Theft
The management is responsible for items left at the office and has a general obligation to monitor the campsite. Campers are responsible for their own facilities, and must report the presence of any suspicious persons to the manager. Customers are asked to take the usual precautions to safeguard their equipment.
Management will not be held responsible for theft.
13. Games
No violent or disruptive games may be played in the vicinity of the facilities. Children must always be supervised by their parents.
14. Dead garage
Unoccupied equipment may only be left on the site with the agreement of the management, and only at the indicated pitch. There may be a charge for this service.
15. Departure and inventory
Mobile homes must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure in high season. Late departures are possible at 2.00 pm out of season if the stay includes the offer, otherwise the same applies, i.e. 10.00 am.
Campsites must be vacated by 12.00 p.m. at the latest.
An inventory of fixtures will be carried out before departure by a member of the campsite staff in the presence of the hirer.
The deposit will be returned only after the inventory of fixtures and fittings has been carried out and if no anomalies are found.
The property must also be returned in the same state of cleanliness as it was rented to you. If this is not the case, you will be liable for the cleaning fee.
16. Swimming pool
The pool area is open during the campsite opening period.
All customers must wear the campsite wristband; without it, they will be excluded.
Access is free and strictly reserved for campsite guests, who must comply with health and safety regulations. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians, who are solely responsible for their supervision.
Animals are strictly forbidden in the pool area.
Before entering the pool, each customer must take a shower and pass through the foot bath.
It is strictly forbidden to wear shoes, eat, drink or smoke in the pool or solarium.
Access to bathing areas is forbidden to anyone with suspicious skin lesions who is not in possession of a medical certificate of non-contagion.
Clean children are allowed to bathe, otherwise they must wear a special swimming-pool diaper.
No running or diving in the pool.
All guests are required to comply with the information given at the entrance and in the pool area as soon as they are admitted to the campsite.
The pool is unsupervised and use is at the bathers’ own risk.
The management declines all responsibility in the event of accidents within the pool area. At certain times, a member of the management team may be asked to enforce the pool’s rules and regulations. In the event of non-compliance, and depending on the seriousness of the problem, the management may decide to exclude the person concerned temporarily or permanently.
17. Infringement of internal regulations
The campsite manager is responsible for keeping the campsite orderly and tidy. It is his duty to punish serious breaches of the rules and, if necessary, to expel troublemakers.
In the event of a customer disrupting the stay of other users, or failing to comply with the provisions of these rules and regulations, the manager or his representative may, orally or in writing if he deems it necessary, give formal notice to the customer to cease the disturbance. In the event of serious or repeated breaches of the rules and regulations, and after formal notice to comply, the manager may terminate the contract. In the event of a criminal offence, the manager may call in the police.
18. Claims
If you notice any anomalies during your stay, we invite you to make your complaint on the spot (particularly concerning the inventory, the inventory of fixtures and the cleaning of the accommodation).
Any dissatisfaction concerning the state of cleanliness or the general condition of the accommodation must be notified no later than 24 hours after arrival, so that remedial action can be taken.
No complaint will be accepted more than 24 hours after the day of arrival.
Any other complaint concerning the non-conformity of the services must be made in writing by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt or by email to Camping Landrezac Plage – 10 Rue des Frères Le Boulicaut – 56370 SARZEAU – campinglandrezacplage@orange.fr, within 30 days of the end of the stay. Our department will deal with your complaint within one month of receipt of your letter or e-mail.
After submitting a written complaint by post or e-mail to the campsite, and failing a satisfactory response within one month, the customer may, within a maximum period of one year from the date of the written complaint, refer the matter to the Médiateur du Tourisme et du Voyage – MEDICYS – 73 Boulevard de Clichy, 75009 Paris, www.medicys.fr.

Applicable laws :
These general booking conditions are subject to French law and governed by the Code du Tourisme, in particular by the provisions of articles R331-1 to R332-8 on camping sites, caravan parks and other developed sites.
