Sarzeau is a charming commune between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Morbihan. Enjoy the long sandy beaches, hiking trails and Suscinio castle.

Discover Sarzeau
Located on the Rhuys peninsula, the Château de Suscinio, residence of the Dukes of Brittany, stands on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean in the commune of Sarzeau in Morbihan. The Château de Suscinio can be reached from the GR34, 2 km from the campsite. Extraordinarily well-preserved, get ready for a timeless family visit.

The Rhuys Peninsula
Discover the Rhuys peninsula between the Atlantic coast and the Gulf of Morbihan. Nestled on one of the highest points of the Presqu’île, Saint-Gildas-de-Rhuys is a land of inspiration for a walk on the cliffs of the Grand Mont.
Our campsite is the perfect starting point for hiking the Presqu ‘île or discovering the megalithic sites.
The Presqu’île is also the ideal setting for a game of golf, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player.

Discover a grandiose landscape dotted with islands such as Arz, Gavrinis, Ile au moines… and numerous islets. The Gulf of Morbihan is a unique, unspoilt and charming landscape to discover on foot, by bike or by boat. Taste the local gastronomy with many seafood dishes, as well as Breton specialties: far, crêpe, kouignamann…
The area is also ideal for water sports, particularly on the Presqu’ile de Rhuys between the Atlantic Ocean and the “little sea”. Between land and sea, the Rhuys peninsula invites you to get away from it all, from the Château de Suscinio in Sarzeau to the magnificent sandy beaches along the 25 kilometers of the peninsula. Discover unspoilt nature: oyster beds, salt marshes… Take a canoe trip to get up close and personal. On a clear day, you can see Belle Ile en Mer or the islands of Houat and Hoedic offshore.

The Gulf of Morbihan, a protected natural area
The area is also home to the Gulf of Morbihan Regional Nature Park, created in 2014, which works to preserve both the natural and cultural landscape. The Park preserves and enhances the area’s strong identity, with its mosaic of landscapes, natural environments and animal species.
There are many walks in Sarzeau for beginners and the more athletic. On foot, by bike or on horseback, explore the many itineraries of the Gulf of Morbihan and discover its treasures and breathtaking landscapes.
